Fleet Week Waterfront Tours Include USS Potomac on October 10

San Francisco ship tours began October 6, with Blue Angels events, viewing opportunities, transit constraints, and neighborhood activities continuing through Fleet Week. Increased Coast Guard patrols highlight restricted areas, changing tides and currents, required safety equipment, and risks for boaters after a fatal Alcatraz-area capsizing; the USS Potomac is scheduled to offer a free public tour in Oakland on October 10, subject to access and availability.
