Regional transit funding, Link expansion, Route 7 changes, and Seattle transit-tax vote

Metro faces a projected $977 million reserve shortfall by 2032–33, and the County Council voted to bring its transportation district under county control; no tax or fee option has been proposed. Ballard Link service is projected for 2042, with a possible 2060 delay; RapidRide R could remove up to 36 Route 7 stops, while Route 106 and Route 40 changes are also in planning or implementation.
