Capitals Reportedly Acquire Goalie Remi Poirier

A report says Washington acquired 25-year-old goalie Remi Poirier from New Jersey, but the compensation is inconsistent within the article: its opening says a fourth-round pick, while the quoted Devils announcement says a 2027 seventh-round pick. Poirier has no NHL regular-season experience; his role and readiness are unknown, and the pick detail needs verification.
