Capitals’ 2-0 Lead Turns Into 5-2 Loss to Kings

Washington lost 5-2 to Los Angeles on October 20 after leading 2-0, with two late first-period goals shifting momentum and the Capitals scoreless for the final 41:25. Leonard and Hutson scored for Washington; Kempe scored twice. The defeat ended Washington’s two-game winning streak and heightened concerns about consistency, turnovers, and the power play.
