Louisiana Tech prepares for Louisiana in Sun Belt opener

Tech hosts Louisiana on October 10 at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+ in the first meeting between the in-state programs as Sun Belt opponents since 1995. Louisiana's defense, rushing attack, possession profile and dual-threat quarterback D'Wayne Winfield present a major test, while Trey Kukuk's ankle injury means Blake Baker is expected to start despite his recent hand injury. A new preview adds no substantive personnel or strategic development.
