Navarre Beach Boardwalk Draws $8.3 Million Low Bid and Public Workshop

An $8.3 million low bid was submitted for the Navarre Beach Boardwalk, with a public workshop scheduled for Oct. 19. Pier construction will cancel the customary New Year’s fireworks display, while organized opposition continues to raise questions about beach access, parking, amenities, tourism spending, and county contracting.
