Kansas adds Central Connecticut State transfer defensive tackle Clifton Thompson

Clifton Thompson joined Kansas to address nose-tackle depth after Tre'Von McAlpine's season-ending injury, while Chase Belcher was also added after the Indiana transfer-eligibility injunction. Immediate eligibility could help against Middle Tennessee, but Thompson's long-term NCAA status, acclimatization and roles remain uncertain.
