Santa Rosa County Schools Prepare for Aug. 10 Start

Schools have completed summer maintenance and safety plans, including new Soundside High School opening and SRO preparations. The district balanced its budget without a millage increase despite a $2.9M state funding cut and declining enrollment. 45 positions were cut, class sizes maintained.
