Claude Code Auto Mode Becomes Default

Anthropic announced that auto mode will become the default for Pro, Max, and Team users on August 14, 2026. The classifier architecture achieves 97% approval rate and 89% harmful action catch rate vs 13.6% human. Enterprise/API users remain opt-in. Configurable deny rules available.
