New York Salmon River Low-Flow Closures

Low flows, elevated temperatures, and hatchery egg-collection needs are delaying the Lower Fly Fishing Zone opener and closing or restricting popular Salmon River sections for the second consecutive year. Other sections remain open, but fall trout and steelhead anglers must verify current boundaries, dates, flows, and temperatures.
