Moyale Border Fighting and Displacement into Kenya

Hundreds of people, mostly women, children, and young people, reportedly fled Moyale into Kenya amid gunfire; one woman was reported wounded. Kenyan police have not identified the source of the bullets, and the reported connection to Oromia–Somali regional tensions does not establish the cause. The Red Cross is preparing shelter and aid for up to 1,000 households.
