Blackhawks assign Dominic Toninato to Rockford

Chicago assigned Toninato to the IceHogs after three NHL games. He must appear for Rockford before a recall, and the move manages his waiver timing during the five-day break; he may miss Montreal, with Mangiapane expected back from injured reserve afterward. Toninato has one goal in one Rockford game this season.
