China Pushes AI Agents into Enterprises and Industry

Tencent’s WorkBuddy reportedly moved rapidly from internal experiment to ecosystem-wide office-agent deployment, while YOFC is applying AI across roughly 20 manufacturing scenarios involving process control, robotics, and carbon monitoring. These cases strengthen the evidence for China’s application-led, data-rich commercialization model, but durable productivity gains, retention, reliability, and monetization remain unproven.
