Westbound I-80 Closure Could Disrupt Weekend Trips Into SF

Westbound I-80 from Fifth to 15th streets is scheduled to close from 11 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday; a report also flags a North Bay SR 37 closure whose details need confirmation. Caltrans warns of substantial Bay Bridge delays and advises avoiding the bridge; consider transit or alternate routes and check current conditions.
