Cal Hosts Ranked Wake Forest ACC Football Showdown

Cal hosts No. 21 Wake Forest in Berkeley Saturday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m. for a ranked ACC matchup televised on ESPN2, with Grateful Bears night and a Grateful Dead helmet tribute adding local interest; Wake enters at 5–1 and Cal’s quarterback situation remains a storyline. Nearby events, possible Berkeley power shutoffs and regional travel disruptions make parking and transit checks worthwhile.
