Charles County Schools Address Threats, THC Vaping and Student Support

A reported threat toward Davis Middle School students led to a juvenile offense report, while THC-vape incidents at La Plata and other high schools produced juvenile citations involving seven devices. A reported handgun at a school-bus stop was determined to be a water gun after a parent alert. CCPS also launched an Extended Day virtual credit-recovery option at five high schools.
