South Carolina adjusts 2027-28 season openers

South Carolina will open 2027 at home against Furman on Aug. 28 and 2028 at home against Bowling Green on Aug. 26, the earliest season start in program history. The changes reflect the NCAA’s standardized 14-week calendar and are relevant to long-range schedule planning.
