Yankees sweep Red Sox in Wild Card round

New York completed a 2-0 sweep of Boston with a 9-2 Game 2 win on September 30, following its 9-0 opener. Fried and a 14-hit attack powered the clincher, while Bellinger, Garcia and the Yankees' .382 series batting average highlighted the offensive disparity; New York now manages Judge's calf issue and Schmidt's postseason-ending shutdown.
