Buffalo prepares for October 17 Massachusetts matchup

Buffalo hosts Massachusetts in the Flagship Cup and leads the all-time series 10-6. Local previews emphasize Buffalo’s fourth-down execution, pass protection, punt protection and return coverage, while UMass kicker Joseph Stump is a special-teams threat; Chance Morrow’s reduced recent involvement is also a matchup note. The Bulls enter after a 23-8 Toledo win, with Burch’s three-game 100-yard rushing streak a key positive.
