Post-Deadline Roster Moves and Injuries

After the trade deadline, the Angels continue to make roster adjustments. Sam Bachman was placed on the IL with a forearm nerve issue, a setback for the bullpen rebuild after the trades of Zeferjahn and Yates. Bachman was emerging as a potential closer. Other recent moves include the call-up of reliever Luke Murphy, recall of Brett Kerry, activation of Moisés Ballesteros, return of Ben Joyce from injury, selection of Blake Weiman's contract, and most recently the call-up of Klassen for the Marlins series.
