Reported Player Frustration Over Lack of Traditional Point Guard

Chris Haynes reports Suns players are frustrated by the absence of a traditional point guard; Phoenix ranks 19th in assists, while one article cites a 16th-ranked offense and John Gambadoro has pushed back on the frustration framing. The team reportedly hopes to address creation internally first, with Gillespie discussed as an option, but no acquisition or personnel change is confirmed. Murray, Lonzo Ball, and other trade targets remain speculation; recent related items added no verified development.
