Jarvis makes contact-progress milestone during extended absence

Seth Jarvis has advanced from a no-contact jersey to a regular jersey and is taking contact in practice after shoulder surgery. He remains out and has no firm return date, but the progress is encouraging within the broad late-October-to-December recovery range and keeps Carolina's top-nine competition active.
