Hurricanes rebound for first win behind Aho, power play and Kochetkov

Carolina defeated Philadelphia 3-2 in overtime on October 3 for its first win of the season. Aho produced three points, Gostisbehere delivered the overtime power-play winner, and Kochetkov stopped 16 shots in his return to the crease. The stronger forecheck, structure and special teams are encouraging, but the goaltending and secondary offense remain under evaluation before Montreal.
