UWF Begins Historic Division I Football Era

UWF has begun its first Division I football season and secured its first Division I win, a 34-31 result over nationally ranked Southern Illinois before a crowd exceeding 6,000. The university’s new stadium is planned for 2027, with major support from PenAir and Michles & Booth.
