PGA Tour structural overhaul and two-tier system

The PGA Tour is implementing a two-tier system with Championship Series events starting in 2028. Travelers confirmed as first event, Sentry moving to Torrey Pines, Sompo added for 2027, and now the Arnold Palmer Invitational has also joined the Championship Series. Napa will host a standalone event in 2027 before the transition. 15 events planned, 10 locked. Tour Championship moving to rotating venues with match play from 2028.
