Courts fight over voting access, voter rolls, and polling-place enforcement
Federal appeals courts have blocked or rejected USPS voting requirements and left DHS's expanded SAVE voter-screening system suspended because of disenfranchisement and erroneous-match concerns. Litigation over ICE near polling places, absentee voting, mail ballots, and election disclosures could materially affect 2026 turnout, administration, and confidence.
