Tampa Bay Drought and Stormwater Pressure

Regional water restrictions have been extended through March despite recent rain, with rainfall still about 15 inches below normal and reservoirs roughly half full. St. Petersburg is also advancing a $7 million stormwater project using enlarged pipes and its first HydroPlanter system, while flood bonds and other drainage investments remain under consideration.
