Army loses defensive shootout at Louisiana Tech; Tulane next

Army lost 31-29 at Louisiana Tech on October 3 despite 421 yards, 270 rushing yards, a 158-yard breakout from Howard, and Cale Hellums' late 95-yard scoring drive. The defense allowed 503 yards and 11 chunk plays, while a failed onside-kick attempt ended the comeback; Tulane's October 10 visit is now an immediate correction test.
