Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on South Frontage Road

Yuma police identified the victim of the South Frontage Road and South Avenue 10E collision as 43-year-old Jose “Bimbo” Fernandez Chavez. The investigation remains ongoing, and speed and alcohol were not initially identified as contributing factors; a family fundraiser has also been reported.
