Farm System Award, Draft Depth and Youth Evaluation Shape 2027 Roster

The Giants were named MLB’s 2026 Farm System of the Year and rank No. 5 in MLB Pipeline’s system rankings, with five prospects in the Top 100. Josuar Gonzalez, Jackson Flora and other prospects remain longer-term assets, while position fit, Double-A performance, promotion timing and 40-man or Rule 5 decisions shape the 2027 plan.
