Alfalfa sprouts from Everything Sprouts linked to E. coli and Salmonella. Now 40+ cases, 3 hospitalized (updated from 23 cases, 2 hospitalized) in MN and WI. Unusual co-infection with multiple STEC strains. Consumers advised to avoid recalled sprouts. New outbreak highlighting recurring sprout risk.
