Kenya Targets Major Production Expansion

Kenya plans to reach 150,000 metric tons by 2028 through regional expansion, replanting, irrigation, disease-resistant varieties, and improved farmer payouts. Suitable planting material, shade, regenerative practices, and farmer productivity may help, but cup quality, climate performance, scale feasibility, and equitable farmer support remain uncertain.
