WDFW authorized removal of up to two wolves after confirmed and probable livestock losses, repeated cattle attacks, rancher precautions, and prior nonlethal management efforts. Implementation, monitoring, the possible removal of a second wolf, and rancher and conservation-community responses remain to be tracked.
