Typhoon Dujuan drives mass evacuations in Japan

Nearly two million people were reportedly urged to evacuate as Typhoon Dujuan battered eastern Japan and the Tokyo region with dangerous winds, exceptional rainfall, flooding, landslide risks, outages, and major transport disruptions. Conditions may be easing, but damage and casualty assessments remain incomplete and some reporting is not independently confirmed.
