Illinois replaces Missouri games with Notre Dame home-and-home

The announced series sends Illinois to South Bend on Sept. 4, 2027, and brings Notre Dame to Champaign on Sept. 2, 2028, replacing Illinois’ 2027–28 games against Missouri. The change also adds FIU and removes Eastern Illinois from Illinois’ 2027 slate; Notre Dame says the series replaces Purdue on its schedule.
