Auditable Privacy-Preserving Federated Learning

A new federated-learning deployment approach combines TEEs, access policies, Rekor transparency logs, reproducible builds, and differential privacy to make anonymization externally auditable, with reported use in Gboard English and Japanese next-word models. It is a concrete trust and governance advance, but TEE side channels, operational cost, and independent validation remain open questions.
