Hunter Goodman Named Silver Slugger Finalist

Goodman is a Silver Slugger finalist for the second straight year after hitting 41 homers in 2026; the winner will be announced November 17. New coverage weighs his power against Gabriel Moreno’s stronger average and WAR, but adds no change to Goodman’s finalist status. Goodman also says he feels better calling pitches himself and wants to improve his game-calling and pitcher relationships in 2027.
