Rockies Face Major Rotation Questions Before 2027

Colorado’s rotation finished with a 6.28 ERA and posted a 7.00 ERA after the trade deadline, going 29 straight games without a starter win and contributing to 49 one- or two-run losses. DePodesta is expected to pursue an aggressive overhaul, potentially using openers or bulk relievers; pitching coach Pedro Astacio has stressed getting starters through another inning, but no transaction has been reported.
