Jacksonville State survives FIU to move to 5-2

Jacksonville State defeated FIU 27-24 on October 13 after a six-day turnaround, moving to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in CUSA. Garrison Rippa supplied the go-ahead field goal and Caden Creel led a late 82-yard scoring drive, but the comeback also kept defensive consistency and late-game communication in focus ahead of the New Mexico State test.
