Alec Pierce Expected to Miss Several Weeks

Pierce aggravated his surgically repaired left heel shortly after returning from ankle surgery and is expected to miss several weeks. X-rays were negative and another operation may be avoidable, but his inability to bear weight and need for a boot and crutches leave his timetable uncertain.
