Remnants of Hurricane Polo may bring heavy rain

A weakening tropical system is expected to cross Ontario after travelling more than 3,000 kilometres, potentially ending a long dry spell in southwestern Ontario. Heavy-rain amounts and the areas receiving the most precipitation remain uncertain, while humidex values near 27–28 are possible; no confirmed Elgin County rainfall totals are available.
