IRS Replaces IRS2Go With New Taxpayer Mobile App

The IRS has launched a replacement for IRS2Go that lets taxpayers check refund status, balances, notices, transcripts, payments, and IP PIN information. It expands access but does not replace IRS Online Account or speed delayed refunds, and fake app clones create a new phishing risk.
