Marketplace furniture stability failures heighten tip-over concerns

A Furniture Safety Week report found that all 23 tested dressers and storage products failed at least one stability test, including products marketed with anti-tip features. Treat furniture-sale coverage and DIY adaptations cautiously; verify recalls, testing, warnings, wall compatibility, anchoring hardware, drawer and shelf loads, and installation requirements before recommending products or builds.
