NC State changes and Cal injury questions shape Saturday matchup

Reports say NC State fired head coach Dave Doeren and defensive coordinator DJ Eliot before its October 31 game against Cal, with Todd Goebbel and Charlton Warren serving as interim leaders. Cal’s first pregame injury report lists Adam Mohammed, AJ Tuitele, Ashten Emory, JD McKinley, Fred Williams III, and Tyson Ruffins as questionable; final availability remains to be determined.
