Polo moisture may bring flooding rain to Texas and the central U.S.
Moisture from Hurricane Polo and its remnants is increasing the risk of heavy rain and flash flooding across New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, and the central United States. Forecast totals of 3–6 inches, locally higher and potentially 5–10 inches in parts of Texas, combined with saturated ground and runoff concerns, could produce major travel disruptions and life-threatening flooding from late September 29 through Friday.
