Bruins lose second straight as special-teams problems deepen

Boston fell 4-1 to Ottawa on 2026-10-05, dropping two straight after opening 2-1. The Bruins went 0-for-4 on the power play while Ottawa went 2-for-4; turnovers, limited offensive pressure and poor veteran execution compounded the problem. James Hagens scored his first NHL goal, but the Utah matchup will test Boston's response.
