Detroit Institute of Arts to Debut Reimagined Galleries

The DIA’s Modern and Contemporary Art Galleries reopen November 15, 2026, after their first major reinstall in nearly 20 years, presenting more than 375 works. The galleries connect Detroit artists, Michigan design, and automotive styling to broader modern and contemporary narratives; a free community celebration adds an accessible opening event.
